DESCRIPTION:
This private townhouse is set amongst lush gardens in a fully walled complex with 8 units. The units are separate and private from one another and although there is a large communal pool which is fenced and gated, this unit also has its own private pool, no net.
The complex is located one road back from the beach. Beach access is via Nkwazi drive, +/- 15min walk, or via a set of stairs between Glen and Nkwazi drive which deposits one at the main beach entrance. There is also parking at the beach for the early bird.
The unit is spacious with a private front garden, outdoor dining facilities, large trees or umbrellas for shade, outdoor furniture and loungers around the pool for those who want to turn golden brown during their holiday. There is a hot/cold outdoor shower to rinse off the sand on the way from the beach. 2 tandem garages and access to the complex is via automated gates.
No 5 Artego is set up to accommodate 8 guests, in 3 bedrooms and a loft. The open plan ground floor contains a bar, lounge, dining room & kitchen. The living space opens on all sides which makes the unit fresh and breezy and lends itself to outdoor living. There is a large AC which cools the kitchen and part of the living area if doors are kept closed.
Kitchen: Electric oven & hob, microwave, 2 Large fridge freezers and a separate fridge, ice machine, dishwasher and all cutlery and crockery is supplied. Laundry facilities: Washing machine & tumble dryer.
The unit provides uncapped Wi-Fi and DSTV, streaming only. Braai facilities: Large gas braai and charcoal Weber. The unit is not serviced, but you can rent a maid. Onsite staff look after all gardens and pools in the complex. The bottom floor is mostly flat with a little ramp from the garage, guests who battle to walk would be comfortable in this unit.
There are 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms with 2 bedrooms on-suite with AC. All bedrooms have cupboard/hanging space and hangers and all linen, towels and beach towels are provided.
Bedrooms and bathrooms: Main bedroom with Queen bed on-suite with shower, toilet, basin and toilet, this bedroom opens onto the front deck and has an AC. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds and also opens onto the front deck, it has a ceiling fan. The loft above the kitchen has 2 single beds, it opens onto a private balcony. Bedroom 2 & the Loft share a bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. Outside the unit there is a set of stairs which leads to the top deck where you will find a roof top room with double bed, little coffee nook, on-suite with shower, toilet and basin. There is a small safe in the main bedroom cupboard
REGRET: NO groups of adults, we cater for “nucleus” family holidays only. NO functions of any kind. No pets allowed.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Admin fee once off: R400. Departure cleaning fee once off: R1134. Breakage deposit of 10% of the value of the accommodation charge, with a minimum of R2500, refundable if there are no breakages.

In Season: R3500.00: 3 – 7 Nights min: 20 Mar to 21 April 25.
Peak Season:
1 to 11 Dec – R3500 per night, min 5 nights,
12 Dec to 15 Jan – R4500 per night, season’s rules apply,
16 to 31 Jan – R2000 per night, min 2 nights.
PEAK SEASON: Minimum stay requirement below: Dec & Jan – kindly enquire for shorter stays.
- Should you wish to include Christmas and New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirement are 10 – 14 nights.
- Should you wish to ONLY include Christmas in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 7 – 10 nights, these 7 – 10 nights may not end later that the 27th or 28th of Dec.
- Should you wish to ONLY include New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 7 – 10 nights and may not start earlier than the 27th or 28th of Dec.
- Lesser stays before and after this period (a minimum of 5 nights) may be considered once the owner has their primary booking in place and secured.
PLEASE NOTE: Things to do noted under amenities does not refer to ON-SITE activities, but rather activities in Zinkwazi and/or the area. You do need your own transport and gear for all of those mentioned.
