DESCRIPTION:
The PERFECT family holiday home! There are spectacular panoramic Ocean and lagoon views and ample space for several or extended families to enjoy a wonderful holiday together.
This house is excellently equipped and caters for young and old.
The front veranda is shaded and has a large table for al-fresco meals whilst overlooking the Ocean.
The pool is fenced and gated and there is an abundance of pool and garden furniture to enjoy the African sun, OR… enjoy the peace of a garden deck under a large tree to read a book or have your sun-downers.
The house sleeps 12 (max 10 adults) in 5 bedrooms and 5 bathroom.
UPSTAIRS: Large covered veranda and open plan lounge, dining room, kitchen and scullery & Main bedroom with on-suite.
Kitchen provides: Oven and hob, prep bowl, large fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. 2 bar fridges.
The main bedroom (1st bedroom), with double bed and full en-suite bathroom and walk in closet, is also located upstairs and has its own little veranda to enjoy your morning coffee or read the newspaper.
DOWNSTAIRS: you will find a spacious entertainment area containing: a braai area shielded from the wind and undercover for Dad to braai, whilst kids enjoy the pool and the rest of the family play pool or watch a movie.
Here you will also find 4 Bedrooms each with its own bathroom: 2nd bedroom: double bed & 2 pull out beds (children under 10 only), on-suite with shower, toilet and basin, opening onto the pool and lawn. 3rd bedroom: double bed, on-suite with shower, toilet and basin. 4th bedroom with double bed, on-suite with bath, basin toilet and shower. 5th bedroom with 2 single beds, on-suite with shower, basin and toilet.
Wi-Fi provided. DSTV: active card & decoder provided. Invertor supplied for load-shedding back up. The house is serviced as per additional charges.
8 Glen drive is located one road back from the beach, however, you can park at the beach or use a set of access stairs nearby for a short walk to the beach.
The house is surrounded by security beams which is supported by a local armed response company.
Parking: There are no garages available, but the property supplies 2 under cover parking bays and open off road parking for more cars.
Laundry facilities: washing machine and tumble dryer.
All bedrooms have large built-in cupboards and ceiling fans, some of the rooms have mosquito nets. All linen, towels and beach towels are provided.
FLAT: this cozy flat with its own veranda and slight sea views has an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchenette. The flat has a double bed and bathroom with toilet, shower and basin. The flat does not have access to TV at all. Please NOTE: If you add the flat to the house rental, there is an additional R1000 rental charge.
REGRET: NO groups of adults, we cater for “nucleus” family holidays only. NO functions of any kind. No pets allowed.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES:
Admin fee: R400. Daily staff levy: R300 per day up to 8 guests, there after additional maid @ R300. Staff work: Mon to Sat, Public holidays and Sundays are optional and charged at double rate. No staff work on 25th Dec & 1st Jan. Departure clean: R1620.00 once off for house, Flat: R700. Breakage deposits: 10% of the value of the accommodation, with a minimum of R2500, refundable if there are no breakages or repairs required.

Out of season: R4000.00: Min 2 nights. (Dates not listed as Mid/In/Peak season). Rates excludes the flat.
Mid-season: R5000.00: Min 2 – 5 nights: Rates excludes the flat.
Below are the Mid-season dates: 20 – 25 Feb 25; 22 April to 4 May 25; 22 – 26 May 25; 13 – 16 June 25; 27 June to 21 July 25; 8 Aug to 2 Sept 25; 24 Sept to 13 Oct 25; 16 – 21 Oct 25; 30 Oct to 3 Nov 25.
In Season: R6000.00: Min 4 – 7 Nights: 20 Mar to 21 April 25. Rates excludes the flat.
Peak Season:
1 to 11 Dec – R7000 per night, min 5 nights – excluding flat,
12 Dec to 15 Jan – R9000 per night, season’s rules apply – excluding flat.
16 to 31 Jan – R4000 per night, min 2 nights – excluding flat.
PEAK SEASON: Minimum stay requirement below: Dec & Jan – kindly enquire for shorter stays.
- Should you wish to include Christmas and New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirement are 10 – 14 nights.
- Should you wish to ONLY include Christmas in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 7 – 10 nights, these 7 – 10 nights may not end later that the 27th or 28th of Dec.
- Should you wish to ONLY include New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 7 – 10 nights and may not start earlier than the 27th or 28th of Dec.
- Lesser stays before and after this period (a minimum of 5 nights) may be considered once the owner has their primary booking in place and secured.
PLEASE NOTE: Things to do noted under amenities does not refer to ON-SITE activities, but rather activities in Zinkwazi and/or the area. You do need your own transport and gear for all of those mentioned.
