As you enter this property you are teased by glimpses of the ocean and lagoon along the side of the house…. Anticipation builds as you approach to enter… AND THEN …. Your breath is taken away by views of a turquoise ocean and the lagoon a stone’s throw from the front door. This house is located right at the main beach, you cannot beat this location. This home seamlessly flows onto the water creating the ideal indoor-outdoor living environment. 

If you bring your boat along you can moor in front of the house when the lagoon is full or canoe up the river for early morning exercise. Jet-ski-ing and water ski-ing are allowed, however you need to comply with the normal rules and must obtain use of the lagoon with permission from the ski-boat club.

The owners have taken great care when furnishing the home. It is furnished to make living easy and hassle free, placing emphasis on relaxation and a great holiday.

There is a beautiful pool, (Not netted), off the front deck and for our South African traditionalist who braai daily, a Weber and Stainless steel charcoal braai is provided.

The house is well equipped, sleeps 8 adults in 4 on-suite bedrooms and there are two dormitories which can sleep 8 each (Max 8 Adults and 16 Children under 12). A total of 24 people, with space for 3 families or 3 generations to holiday together.

The front of the house has a large veranda, with ample furnishings and a dining room table for al-fresco meals. Living is made easy by large stacking doors which can enclose the house should the weather turn grey and remote control shutters and screens ensure additional privacy should you require.

The ample open plan living area is spacious and cool. It consists of a Lounge, TV lounge, and kitchen.

A separate scullery with dishwasher and a laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is an additional bar fridge provided.

The house also offers the following: DSTV, Wi-Fi, it is serviced and has a invertor and generator.

There is a state of the art security system with beams, alarm, cameras and armed response. This is enhanced by the electric screens and lockable shutters.

Children who cannot swim must be watched at all times.

There is an additional annex to the house which sleeps 4 and can be rented at an additional charge per night.

Sleeping facilities: The two main bedrooms have magnificent views of the Ocean and lagoon, and one of these has a private lounge which can be closed off from the rest of the house. All bedrooms and both dorms are en-suite. Two bedrooms have his & her showers with King size beds and two bedrooms have Queen Size beds and are en-suite. The dormitories have double showers with basins and toilets.

All linen, towels and beach towels are provided. All bedrooms and the dormitory have AC & ceiling fans.

REGRET: NO groups of adults, we cater for “nucleus” family holidays only. NO functions of any kind. No pets allowed.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Admin fee: R400. Daily staff levy: 2 staff @ R300 each per night. Breakage deposits: 10% of the value of the accommodation, with a minimum of R2500, refundable if there are no breakages or repairs required.

RATES: (Jan 25 – Jan 26).

Mid-Week Rates: R12 000 per night for entire house sleeping 24 guests, max 8 adults, Min 2 nights: All dates not part of Holiday dates below.

Week-end Rates: R16000 per night for entire house sleeping 24 guests, max 8 adults, Min 2 nights: All dates not part of Holiday dates below.

Holiday dates: R24000 per night for entire house, sleeping 24 guests, max 8 adults. Min 3 – 7 Nights: 20 – 25 Feb 25; 20 Mar to 21 April 25.; 22 April to 4 May 25; 22 – 26 May 25; 13 – 16 June 25; 27 June to 21 July 25; 8 Aug to 2 Sept 25; 24 Sept to 13 Oct 25; 16 – 21 Oct 25; 30 Oct to 3 Nov 25.

Additional annex: to the house which sleeps 4, can be rented at R10 000 per night additional to the house rental, not rented on its own.

R24000 per night for entire house, sleeping 24 guests Max 8 adults. Minimum 7 – 10 night stays.

PEAK SEASON: Minimum stay requirement below: Dec & Jan – kindly enquire for shorter stays.

1. Should you wish to include Christmas and New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirement are 10 – 14 nights.
2. Should you wish to ONLY include Christmas in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 7 – 10 nights, these 7 – 10 nights may not end later that the 27^th or 28^th of Dec.
3. Should you wish to ONLY include New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 7 – 10 nights and may not start earlier than the 27^th or 28^th of Dec.
4. Lesser stays before and after this period (a minimum of 5 nights) may be considered once the owner has their primary booking in place and secured.

PLEASE NOTE: Things to do noted under amenities does not refer to ON-SITE activities, but rather activities in Zinkwazi and/or the area. You do need your own transport and gear for all of those mentioned.
