DESCRIPTION:
The Original Lagoon cottage. This older cottage offers beautiful views, direct lagoon and beach access, and is large enough to allow you to bring the whole family.
It has a massive lawn for kids of all ages to kick a ball, play cricket or have a picnic under the trees.
You can fish off the edge of the lagoon or enjoy the large undercover veranda for lazy days, games or just to enjoy the view.
Bring your row boat or canoe. Launch directly off property, Normal boat for skiing/jet ski. NOT suitable for large double axel ski boats (6m+), Should you wish to bring a larger boat arrange lagoon access with Ski-boat club on the beach and launch from the communal site. You may moor your boat in front of the property provided the lagoon is full enough.
NOTE: Our local kids camp (Sugarbay) do use the side of the property as an access to the lagoon, they are well behaved and controlled.
The property is serviced and provides linen and braai facilities. Bring your own bath & beach towels and DSTV decoder.
The DSTV dish is compatible to normal decoders, PVR and Explora, please remember your power plug and HDMI cable.
The house is secured by security beams, an alarm and armed response.
Open parking within the property is available, no garages.
This home contains the following: Veranda, Lounge, dining room, kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one inside and one on the side of the house) and guest loo.
Laundry facilities: Washing machine and tumble dryer.
Kitchen: All crockery & cutlery, enough fridge and freezer space, large stove with gas hob & electric oven and microwave.
The house sleeps 12 in 5 bedrooms:
Bedrooms: 1st Bedroom: Queen bed, 2nd Bedroom 2x single beds, can convert to king, 3rd Bedroom Queen, 4th Bedroom Queen, 5th Bedroom 4 single beds. Some of the rooms have basins.
Bathrooms: 1st Bathroom with bath, basin and shower, separate loo, 2nd Bathroom, is outside on the side of the house, enclosed and private with basin, shower and toilet. There is a third option, completely al-fresco shower with hot and cold water in garden foliage… for those who can afford to flaunt it.
REGRET: NO groups of adults, we cater for “nucleus” family holidays only. NO functions of any kind. No pets allowed.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Admin fee once off: R400. Daily staff levy: R300. Breakage deposit of 10% of the value of the accommodation charge, with a minimum of R2500, refundable if there are no breakages.

Peak Season:
1 to 11 Dec – R7600 per night, min 7 nights,
12 Dec to 12 Jan – R9000 per night, season’s rules apply,
13 to 31 Jan – R6500 per night, min 5 nights.
PEAK SEASON: Minimum stay requirement below: Dec & Jan – kindly enquire for shorter stays.
- Should you wish to include Christmas and New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirement are 10 – 14 nights.
- Should you wish to ONLY include Christmas in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 7 – 10 nights, these 7 – 10 nights may not end later that the 27th or 28th of Dec.
- Should you wish to ONLY include New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 7 – 10 nights and may not start earlier than the 27th or 28th of Dec.
- Lesser stays before and after this period (a minimum of 5 nights) may be considered once the owner has their primary booking in place and secured.
PLEASE NOTE:Â Things to do noted under amenities does not refer to ON-SITE activities, but rather activities in Zinkwazi and/or the area. You do need your own transport and gear for all of those mentioned.
