Welcome to the Original Lagoon Cottage. A charming, spacious home perfectly positioned with stunning lagoon views and direct access to both the lagoon and the beach.

This classic, older-style cottage is ideal for families or groups looking to relax, unwind, and enjoy the outdoors together.

The property boasts a large, open lawn where kids (and adults!) can kick a ball, play cricket, or enjoy a picnic beneath the trees.

Spend your days fishing right from the lagoon’s edge, cooling off in the netted swimming pool, or relaxing on the expansive covered veranda, a perfect spot for lazy afternoons, games, and soaking in the beautiful surroundings.

For water enthusiasts, feel free to bring along a rowboat or canoe and launch directly from the property. Smaller ski boats and jet skis are suitable; however, larger double-axle ski boats (over 6m) cannot be launched from here.

If you plan to bring a bigger boat, access can be arranged through the local ski-boat club on the beach, with launching from the communal site. Mooring in front of the property is possible when lagoon levels allow.

The home is serviced and includes linen, as well as braai facilities with both charcoal and gas options. A skottle is also available on request. Bath towels are provided, please bring your own beach towels.

Entertainment is easy with a smart TV, allowing you to stream DSTV (via your own account) or other preferred platforms.

For peace of mind, the property is secured with alarm systems, security beams, and armed response.

Parking is available within the property, accessed via an electric gate (no garages).

Home layout includes:
A spacious veranda, lounge, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, five bedrooms, two bathrooms, plus a guest toilet.

Laundry facilities:
Washing machine and tumble dryer (please note: washing and ironing are not included in the maid service).

Kitchen:
Well-equipped with crockery and cutlery, ample fridge and freezer space, a large stove with gas hob and electric oven, and a microwave.

The home comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests across 5 bedrooms:

1st Bedroom: Queen bed
2nd Bedroom: Two single beds (can be converted into a king)
3rd Bedroom: Queen bed
4th Bedroom: Queen bed
5th Bedroom: Four single beds
(Some rooms include basins for added convenience.)

Bathrooms:

Main bathroom: Bath, shower, basin, with a separate toilet
Second bathroom: Located outside on the side of the house, fully enclosed and private, with shower, basin, and toilet
The home also feature: An outdoor, open-air garden shower with hot and cold water—perfect for those who enjoy a unique, nature-inspired experience.

PLEASE NOTE: Things to do noted under amenities does not refer to ON-SITE activities, but rather activities in Zinkwazi and/or the area. You do need your own transport and gear for all of those mentioned.
