Remember those long, carefree summer holidays by the sea? Paddy’s Place brings that nostalgia to life: offering the perfect setting for a classic family beach getaway.
Located just meters from the sand, this relaxed coastal home offers slight sea views from the top deck, plenty of privacy, and a generous lawn where kids can play to their heart’s content.
Spend your days on the quiet beach right in front of the house, or take a short drive to the main beach, where early risers can secure convenient parking.
The beach is so close you can stroll down with your morning coffee, enjoy the sound of the waves, and still be back before the rest of the family wakes.
Paddy’s Place is an old-school holiday home filled with charm and space, designed for families to gather, unwind, and create lasting memories. While it retains its original character, the home is well maintained and equipped with modern essentials including Wi-Fi and DSTV.
Security features include alarm systems, perimeter beams, and armed response for peace of mind.
Inside, you’ll find a spacious living area that opens onto a covered veranda — perfect for outdoor breakfasts and relaxed evenings.
The large kitchen and adjoining scullery are fully equipped with everything you need, including a hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, and all necessary crockery and cutlery.
Please note, the house is not serviced, but cleaning staff can be arranged through a local agency if required.
Parking includes a small garage, covered parking for a second vehicle, and additional open parking within the property.
Outdoor cooking is a pleasure with both a Weber and a built-in braai available.
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement and subject to owner approval.
The home accommodates up to 12 guests (maximum of 8 adults). All bed linen, bath towels, and beach towels are provided. Each bedroom includes ceiling fans, built-in cupboards, and hangers.

The main house includes 4 bedrooms and a loft, serviced by 2 full bathrooms:
Main Bedroom: Queen bed with en-suite full bathroom
Second Bedroom: Two single beds
Third Bedroom: Two single beds
Fourth Bedroom: One single bed
Loft Area: Four single beds
Family Bathroom: Bath, shower, toilet, and basin
In addition, there is a separate outdoor flat featuring:
Double bed with en-suite bathroom (shower, toilet, and basin)
REGRET: NO groups of adults, we cater for “nucleus” family holidays only. NO functions of any kind. No pets allowed. All bookings subject to owners’ approval.
PLEASE NOTE: Things to do noted under amenities does not refer to ON-SITE activities, but rather activities in Zinkwazi and/or the area. You do need your own transport and gear for all of those mentioned.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES: Admin fee: R400. Departure cleaning fee: R1650. Breakage deposit of 10% of the value of the accommodation charge, with a minimum of R2500, refundable if there are no breakages.

Mid-season Rates: R1500 per night for 6 guests, R250 per head per night thereafter, max 12 guests, Min 2 – 5 nights: Mid-season dates: 20 to 22 Mar 26; 21 April to 3 May 26; 21 to 25 May 26; 12 to 16 June 26; 26 June to 21 July 26; 7 Aug to 9 Sept 26; 18 Sept to 13 Oct 26; 22 Oct to 2 Nov 26.
In season Rates: R1800 per night for 6 guests, R300 per head per night thereafter, max 12 guests, Min 3 – 7 Nights: 27 Mar to 20 April 26.
Peak Season:
1 to 11 Dec – R1800 per night for 6 guests, R300 per head per night thereafter, max 12 guests, min 5 nights.
12 Dec to 12 Jan – R6 000 per night, 12 guests as above, season’s rules apply,
13 to 31 Jan – R1200 per night for 6 guests, R200 per head per night thereafter, max 12 guests, Min 2 nights.
PEAK SEASON: Minimum stay requirement below: Dec & Jan, All bookings subject to owners’ approval.
1.Should you wish to include Christmas and New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirement is 10 – 14 nights.
2. Should you wish to ONLY include Christmas in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 7 – 10 nights, these 7 – 10 nights may not end later that the 27th or 28th of Dec.
3. Should you wish to ONLY include New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 7 – 10 nights and may not start earlier than the 27th or 28th of Dec.
4. Lesser stays before and after this period (a minimum of 5 nights) may be considered once the owner has their primary booking in place and secured.
