THE CAPE ESCAPE
The Cape Escape is a stunning Bali-style beachfront home, set within a lush tropical garden in Zinkwazi. This spacious, modern three-level property offers every comfort and luxury, making it ideal for multiple families, extended families, or blended family groups.
Designed for seamless indoor-outdoor living, the home opens onto verandas, decks, and pool areas from most rooms, allowing you to fully enjoy the coastal setting.
Take in breathtaking ocean views while relaxing by one of two pools: a splash pool on the veranda off the main living area, or a large, sparkling pool on the ground level—perfect for sun lovers. (Please note: neither pool is netted.)
The property features a generous lawn for children to play, leading to a spacious beachfront deck complete with outdoor furniture and a firepit—perfect for evening gatherings by the sea.
The main living area overlooks the ocean and flows onto a large covered veranda, furnished with comfortable lounge seating, a dining table for alfresco meals, and the splash pool—ideal for unwinding after a day at the beach.
The Cape Escape is fully equipped and serviced, offering fibre Wi-Fi, DSTV, and a built-in charcoal braai.
Accommodation & Layout
The home accommodates a maximum of 10 adults and 4 children under 12, with ample space across three levels to ensure privacy and comfort for all guests.
Top Floor:
This level features a private lounge with a balcony and beautiful ocean views.
Main bedroom: King-size bed, air-conditioning, private furnished balcony, and en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, double basins, and toilet
Second bedroom/study: Sleeper couch (convertible to a queen or two single beds), air-conditioning, and en-suite bathroom with shower, basin, and toilet
Middle Floor (Entrance Level):
Accessed from street level, this floor offers a spacious double-volume open-plan living area, including:
TV lounge and formal lounge
Large bar area
Dining area
Reading nook
Guest toilet
Fully equipped kitchen and scullery
This level also includes a double garage and secure parking for an additional four vehicles. Partial air-conditioning is available.
Kitchen:
Fitted with an electric hob and oven, microwave, ample fridge and freezer space, dishwasher, and all necessary crockery and cutlery.
Laundry:
Washing machine and tumble dryer provided.
Bottom Floor:
Opening onto the garden and main pool area, this level is perfect for relaxation and entertainment. It includes:
Coffee station with bar fridge
TV lounge
Games room with pool table, table tennis, and foosball
This area is fully air-conditioned.
Four bedrooms are located on this level, all with ducted air-conditioning:
Main bedroom: King-size bed, en-suite with bath, shower, basin, and toilet

Fourth bedroom: Double bed
Bedrooms 2, 3, & 4 share two bathrooms:

All bedrooms feature built-in cupboards and hangers. Linen, bath towels, and beach towels are provided.
REGRET: NO groups of adults, we cater for “nucleus” family holidays only. NO functions of any kind. No pets allowed. All bookings subject to owners’ approval.
PLEASE NOTE: Things to do noted under amenities does not refer to ON-SITE activities, but rather activities in Zinkwazi and/or the area. You do need your own transport and gear for all of those mentioned.
Addition Charges: Once off admin fee: R400. Staff levies: R350 up to 10 guests, there after an additional staff member at R350 per day. Sundays and public holidays are charged at R550 and only 1 maid is compulsory. Departure clean: R700. Breakage deposits: 10% of the value of the accommodation, with a minimum of R5000, refundable if there are no breakages or repairs required.

Out of season Rates: R8000 per night for 10 guests, R500 per head per night thereafter, max 14 guests, Min 2 nights: (All dates not listed as Mid/In/Peak season).
Mid-season Rates: R9000 per night for 10 guests, R550 per head per night thereafter, max 14 guests, Min 2 – 5 nights: Mid-season dates: 20 to 22 Mar 26; 21 April to 3 May 26; 21 to 25 May 26; 12 to 16 June 26; 26 June to 21 July 26; 7 Aug to 9 Sept 26; 18 Sept to 13 Oct 26; 22 Oct to 2 Nov 26.
In season Rates: R10 000 per night for 10 guests, R600 per head per night thereafter, max 14 guests, Min 3 – 7 Nights: 27 Mar to 20 April 26.
Peak Season:
1 to 11 Dec – R10 000 per night for 10 guests, R600 per head per night thereafter, max 14 guests, Min 5 Nights
12 Dec to 15 Jan – R20000 per night, season’s rules apply, Max 14.
16 to 31 Jan – R8000 per night for 10 guests, R500 per head per night thereafter, max 14 guests, min 2 nights.
PEAK SEASON: Minimum stay requirement below: Dec & Jan, All bookings subject to owners’ approval.
1.Should you wish to include Christmas and New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirement is 10 – 14 nights.
2. Should you wish to ONLY include Christmas in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 7 – 10 nights, these 7 – 10 nights may not end later that the 27th or 28th of Dec.
3. Should you wish to ONLY include New Year in your booking, the minimum stay requirements are 7 – 10 nights and may not start earlier than the 27th or 28th of Dec.
4. Lesser stays before and after this period (a minimum of 5 nights) may be considered once the owner has their primary booking in place and secured.
